The HTHY-0610 Rolling Thin Film Oven (RTFO) is designed to simulate the short-term aging of unaged and polymer-modified bituminous binders. After aging in the RTFO, the change in mass is determined, and the aging resistance of the binder can be evaluated by measuring the properties of the aged residue, including penetration, viscosity, ductility, and Fraass breaking point.
