Product Introduction

The HTHY-0610 Rolling Thin Film Oven (RTFO) is designed to simulate the short-term aging of unaged and polymer-modified bituminous binders. After aging in the RTFO, the change in mass is determined, and the aging resistance of the binder can be evaluated by measuring the properties of the aged residue, including penetration, viscosity, ductility, and Fraass breaking point.

Product Features

  • Displays real-time temperature–time and airflow–time curves throughout the test.
  • Real-time monitoring of temperature deviation and airflow deviation during the aging process.
  • Test data are recorded every 5 seconds and can be exported to a USB drive in Excel format.
  • Automatically prints test data upon completion of the test.
  • The air jet is located at the bottom of the chamber, while a circulation fan is installed at the top to ensure a uniform temperature distribution throughout the test chamber.
  • An internal chamber light and a large high-temperature resistant viewing window allow convenient observation of the test throughout the aging process.
